Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then, she joined WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. The work of O'Dell in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these incidents. In the year 2000, The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with its Best Report of the Years Award across all South Carolina Media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time at Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor for the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving into Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor on weekends. In addition to her current job as the lead anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and as well to Dateline NBC. She's been a reporter for the Academy Awards The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Her other co-hosting credits include Miss USA, the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
